My 8 PM Monday Night AngYoga Wind Down Session class at 5 Elements Martial Arts & Wellness Center, has been a great journey over the last 7 months. I have learned so much by experimenting with what I already know & adding new things I keep learning from my teachers. “You will always be learning!” is probably a pretty accurate way of describing my life as a yoga master. From a very young age I have been taking fitness classes revolving around back alignment and posture. As previously stated I have had a condition called scoliosis my whole life and have been taking both Yoga and Pilate’s for many years. My current classes combine a little bit of both, plus my at times eccentric personality and you’ve got yourself a pretty vigorous workout. Having a background in dance and a strong desire to work with children as well as adults I incorporate a little bit of fun as well as relaxation into my classes. Yoga Fun With My Son

As a proud mom who leads an active lifestyle I couldn’t be happier to finally be able to share my yoga practice with my son Andrei as he grows bigger and stronger. Celebrating his 4th birthday this month on April 24th, I am extremely excited to pass down the awesomeness of health & fitness on to the next generation. We are even hoping to put together a parent/child class in the future. Here are a few shots from our photo session this month at the La Jolla Cove Tide Pools.

Currently working on putting together a final draft of my childhood story. Not sure how soon it will get done, but by sharing my experiences I hope I can inspire and motivate the younger generation of today to start worrying about their wellbeing early on. Prevention and maintenance through a balanced body, mind and spirit is definitely possible, weather you are, spiritual, religious, neither or both.

So I’ve been teaching at the Wellness Center for close to a month now, and I must say I am getting to love what I do more and more each day. Practicing a Yogic Lifestyle is an awesome way to improve many aspects of your personal life and your relationship with yourself as well as others. Spirituality is the ultimate path to enlightenment as in Buddhism and Hinduism and although I am not religious, studying both has aided me on my path to a higher existence. If you are interested in getting fit while sustaining lean, organic muscle through a de-stressing, spiritual workout, then I hope to see you at a future yoga session, thanks for stopping by my site!!!

Love & Passion United

For the past several months, I have been in search of ways to combine my love for skin care and de-stressing with my passion for teaching yoga and staying fit. I recently learned of a business opportunity through USANA Health Sciences, and little by little the bigger picture began to reveal itself to me. My life has been preparing me for a career in wellness this whole time, and now more than ever I realize that it is just as important to take care of my body from the inside as it is from the outside.
