February Blog Of the month Video Feature (Dancers Pose)

Pink October

As a female dancer, yoga master & esthetician I fully support breast cancer research and would love to join in spreading the awareness this month. I have met several women who are survivors of this stigma and I truly believe that early detection is associated with higher long term survival rates. I place this ribbon on my site to show my support of this great cause and to spread my positive energy & attitude.

Also this month this proud mom will join Sammy Bull Navarro for Pink October Breast Cancer Awareness Month on the Dezert Outlaw Motor sports truck for a Powder Puff race. Go Pink!! ;)

Time Flies

September 18th 2014 I Angelika Roncow the owner & founder of this website turned 29 years old. Incredible to see how my son has grown and I can’t believe this is my last year of my 20′s. Definitely looking forward to my 30′s however as I hear they are the best years of many people’s life’s. Took a mini vacation with my kiddo and posted lots of photos on my Instagram page for all to view. Thanks everyone for your likes & follows. I will keep working on this site, and updating you all on new classes and other upcoming projects in the near future. Thanks for stopping by. ;)

Aura – the human bio energy field:

In this blog I would like to congratulate my mom & stepdad on their wedding which took place June 6th 2014. I couldn’t be happier to finally have a real family again. Love my 2 step sisters, my mom, my son, my grandmother & my now “officially” stepfather very much ;) . I honestly don’t know what I would do without you guys in my life these days, so here is a shout out && a big thank you to ya’ll. You guys rock!! XoXo -Ang’

To continue there will be no Monday Yoga through August, while my mom is visiting some of our family in Russia, which has unfortunately caused a slight shift in my weekly routine. For a single mom who was diagnosed with anxiety a few years back, yoga has played a huge role in keeping me more centered & focused on my goals. Yoga also helps us tap into our Prana or the subtle energy we get through oxygen or the breathing techniques taught during class which assist us in maintaining our physical body & it’s health. This blog is about theHuman Aura which binds & protects all of our bodies the physical & the six subtle bodies listed as follows:

1 – Physical auric body – Physical sensations. Simple physical comfort, pleasure, health.

2 – The etheric auric body – Emotions with respect to self. Self-acceptance and self love.

3 – Vital auric body – Rational mind. To understand the
situation in a clear, linear, rational way.

4 – Astral (emotional) body – Relations with others. Loving interaction with friends and family.

5 – Lower mental auric body – Divine will within. To align with the divine will within, to make commitment to speak and follow the truth.

6 – Higher mental auric body – Divine love, and spiritual ecstasy.

7 – Spiritual (intuitive) body – Divine mind, serenity. To be connected to divine mind and to understand the greater universal pattern.

Besides the 7 auric fields & their needs on each level I just described. Different people poses a different color of the aura. And the different colors have different characteristics & meanings. I will not cover all, but I will share with you a quiz I found pretty entertaining & my results which I earlier shared via Facebook & Instagram.

Energy Balance

So lately I’ve been experimenting with adding a theme or an intention for my class when teaching. One major tool in advancing your knowledge as a yoga instructor is the study of The 7 major energy centers in our bodies AKA our Chakras. Starting from the 1st root chakra working their way up the spinal cord to the 7th crown chakra. They each represent a different color and have different ways of healing oneself when balanced.

Once we learn how to heal ourselves through balancing out the different energy centers, only then can we achieve a total mind, body & spirit health.

My 8 PM Monday Night AngYoga Wind Down Session class at 5 Elements Martial Arts & Wellness Center, has been a great journey over the last 7 months. I have learned so much by experimenting with what I already know & adding new things I keep learning from my teachers. “You will always be learning!” is probably a pretty accurate way of describing my life as a yoga master. From a very young age I have been taking fitness classes revolving around back alignment and posture. As previously stated I have had a condition called scoliosis my whole life and have been taking both Yoga and Pilate’s for many years. My current classes combine a little bit of both, plus my at times eccentric personality and you’ve got yourself a pretty vigorous workout. Having a background in dance and a strong desire to work with children as well as adults I incorporate a little bit of fun as well as relaxation into my classes. This being said I’d like to introduce my latest video blog. Thank you for watching!! XoXo -Ang’

Yoga Fun With My Son

As a proud mom who leads an active lifestyle I couldn’t be happier to finally be able to share my yoga practice with my son Andrei as he grows bigger and stronger. Celebrating his 4th birthday this month on April 24th, I am extremely excited to pass down the awesomeness of health & fitness on to the next generation. We are even hoping to put together a parent/child class in the future. Here are a few shots from our photo session this month at the La Jolla Cove Tide Pools.
